Jakarta – Indonesian Parliament PKS Faction Chairwoman Jazuli Juwaini strongly condemned Israel’s plan to begin annexation or annexation of the West Bank and Jordan Valley region on July 1.
He considered Israel’s actions had violated international law hundreds of times, violated human rights, and threatened regional stability and world peace.
“Attempts to annexation in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when the conditions of the Palestinian people in the evacuation were very concerned, clearly inhumane actions,” Jazuli said in a statement here on Friday.
He fully supports the attitude of Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, who has firmly rejected and opposed the plan at the UN Security Council Open Session on June 24, 2020.
The member of the House of Representatives Commission I asked the Foreign Minister to continue to take strong diplomatic steps in order to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and so that the world would not stand idly by watching Israeli arrogance.
“The nation and state of Indonesia have always been on the Palestinian side at any time as long as Palestinians still experience injustice, human rights violations, and a bad humanitarian situation due to Israeli barbaric acts for decades,” he said.
He urged countries in the world not to turn a blind eye to human rights violations and international humanitarian law by Israel.
Jazuli who is the Vice President of the World Muslim Parliamentary Forum (IIFP) asked for concrete and concrete international steps to stop Israeli barbarity.
“Not enough to criticize, not enough resolutions, it takes concrete steps in the countries of the world to fight Israel’s arrogance,” he said.
He assessed that the credibility of world bodies such as the United Nations was really at stake regarding Israel’s actions. (Ant)
