[DIREKTORI] Pria kelahiran Bangil, Bali, 24 Desember 1961 ini merupakan hakim konstitusi termuda. Dosen hukum tata negara Fakultas Hukum Universitas Udayana ini sangat aktif ketika membahas amandemen UUD 1945 di Panitia Ad Hoc I badan Pekerja MPR. Ia menjadi hakim konstitusi pilihan DPR atas dukungan Fraksi PDIP.

I Dewa Gede Palguna was born in Bangli, Bali, 24 December 1961. This former member of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (1999-2003) finished his bachelor degree in the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, Bali in 1987. He, then, continued his master degree in Padjajaran University, Bandung in 1994. This lecturer in the Faculty of Law, Udayana University realizes that the duties of the Constitutional Court Justices are tough and therefore support and critics from others are very important.
He hopes that through its decisions, the Constitutional Court is able to fulfil the hopes of society in enforcing the rule of law and democracy in Indonesia. This father of three children considers the biggest challenge of the Constitutional Court is the fact that it is established in a condition in which the trust of the society in almost all public institution is very low. Therefore, the Constitutional Court has to show its ability in fulfilling the hopes of the society. mk
